The Theatre Technology Trade Fair (Vakbeurs Theatertechniek) is the meeting place for everyone who wants to know more about the technical facilities relating to the performing arts and to business events. These technical theatre resources are also of great importance for the equipment of museums, halls, meeting rooms in hotels, council chambers and conference accommodation.

Exhibitors of video technology are also warmly invited to present their products and services here. As use is increasingly being made of the enormous possibilities of projection in theatres and other event locations related to presentations, often integrated with other techniques. Both on a temporary basis and in the case of fixed installations.

The Trade Fair provides opportunities particularly for technicians from playhouses, theatres and concert buildings to experience what is available for purchase or hire in the area of professional resources, service and equipment. Top suppliers of theatre technology exhibit the latest developments in the broad field of lighting, sound, equipment, effects, floors, lifting technology, theatre fabrics, stage and scenery construction and pyrotechnics.

Congress and event locations as well as event organisations, designers, architects and consultancies are already convinced that the Theatre Technology Trade Fair is an excellent meeting place for obtaining a rapid and expert overview of a very broad offering of all technical products for stage, auditorium and outdoor events.

The establishment of the Theatre Technology Trade Fair Foundation (Stichting Vakbeurs Theatertechniek) in 1987 was an initiative of a number of suppliers in the theatre sector, aimed at establishing a professional, non-profit fair for and by technicians from the world of theatre.
A biennial meeting point for suppliers, colleagues from the profession and buyers.
